Drop-Off Service
Easysale’s drop-off service lets you work personally with one of our eBay experts, right in your own neighborhood. Whether you live in Dallas, Fort Worth or anywhere in between, it’s easy to take advantage of Easysale’s online consignment service.
Just bring the items you’d like to sell into any of our convenient Metroplex locations in Addison, Plano/Frisco, Southlake, and Dallas/University Park. If you wish, you can also call our headquarters and distribution center in Arlington at 817-640-3279 to schedule a drop-off time. An Easysale expert will research each item’s past selling history on eBay and will estimate the item’s market value.
If your item is worth at least $50 on eBay, we can sell it for you. Using our research and experience, we’ll recommend a selling strategy that will get you the highest possible price for each item. We’ll also work with you to capture all the important information about your items, so that we can include it in the online listing.
Before you leave the store, you’ll receive a written receipt detailing each item you have left with us, along with the strategy we’ll use to sell it. And if it’s your first time to sell with us, we’ll be sure you understand the selling process and know exactly what to expect with our online auction service.
On-Site Appraisal and eBay Pick-Up Service
Easysale’s on-site appraisal and eBay pick-up service is the perfect solution when you have large, bulky or heavy items to sell, or when you have too many items to bring into one of our stores.
Just request an eBay pick-up appointment either online or by calling 817-640-easy (3279). An Easysale Customer Auction Advisor will briefly review the items you’d like to sell to be sure that you have at least $100 of items, each worth $50 or more. Your Advisor will give you a time window for the pick-up and will get all the information we need about the pick-up location.
On the day of your appointment, an Easysale truck will arrive at your home or self-storage unit. A uniformed Mobile Trading Manager with a wireless notebook computer will meet with you and gather information on the items you want to sell. He can also help you find other items that may sell well on eBay and can do the same online appraisal of each item’s value that we do in our stores.
Meanwhile, one or two Mobile Trading Assistants will load your items onto our truck. Our trucks, Mobile Trading Managers and Assistants have all the tools and equipment necessary to safely transport virtually any item – from fragile glassware to large appliances – back to our Arlington distribution center for processing.
There is a $35 per trip fee for pick-ups, whether you have one item or a full truckload. We deduct this fee from your check after your items sell.
Easysale Does All the Work
Once you drop off your items or we pick them up, we do all the work. Easysale’s online auction service includes:
- Additional research, if necessary, to know how to best represent and sell your item
- Professional photography to visually showcase your item to its best advantage
- Expert copywriting to maximize your item’s exposure, including determining the best category in which to list your item and the key words that are most likely to match a prospective buyer’s online search
- Sending you an email when your listing goes “live” on eBay, with a link to it so you can watch the action
- Answering questions from prospective buyers to ensure that they have the information they need to bid with confidence on your item
- Protecting you against phony bidders and online scams
- Collecting payment from the winning bidder or buyer
- Careful packing and shipping of your item so that it arrives promptly and in good condition, minimizing returns
- Resolving any post-sale customer service issues with the buyer
Our brand and high feedback rating make buyers more likely to bid on our auctions rather than auctions run by individuals. And, because you are not identified as the seller, your safety and privacy are never at risk.
