In December, Easysale and the DFW Chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO-DFW) asked Dallas-Fort Worth residents to send in photos of the “Messiest Garage in the Metroplex”. A panel of professional organizers from NAPO-DFW selected 7 finalists from all of the entries, and throughout the month of January, the public voted for the messiest garage. The prize: a free garage makeover worth approximately $5,000! The lucky winners, Kathleen and Clayton Cory of Rockwall, Texas, received 12,385 votes, or a whopping 53% of the 23,230 votes cast.
And so, on January 29-30, Easysale and a team of volunteer professional organizers from NAPO-DFW, along with several other sponsors, will brave the rain, snow and frigid temperatures to work their magic to bring order to the Corys’ messy garage. We’ll be removing everything from the garage; sorting it; helping the Corys decide what to keep, what to sell on eBay with Easysale, and what to discard; then cleaning and painting the garage, installing more functional storage systems, and putting everything back in its new proper place.
